Brand new (July 2017) queen platform bed and mattress and queen futon. Both include new, high end sheets. The kitchen is fully stocked for everything you will need. Walk less than 100 yards from cabin to stairs leading down to beach. You will have access to beach and yard area which may be shared with owners or caretakers in the main house but not other renters. The sleeping areas are not closed off so it is a bit of a "one room cabin" but some separation between beds by a curtained doorway. Washer and dryer in unfinished basement. We have WiFi and can arrange a smart tv. Longer term renters (multiple months) inquire about discount for longer stay. No pets allowed and we love our neighbors so only quiet, respectful guests need inquire.

Cottage is located 2 blocks from M28 and the Casino in Christmas MI. Public beach is within a mile and Pictured Rocks is only a 10 minute drive. There are two bedrooms (both Queen beds) and two full bathrooms. The couch does fold out for additional sleeping. One bathroom is a nice full sized master bath, and the other bathroom is small, it has a bathtub/shower, toilet and sink that is clean and functional, but very small. (did I mention it's small? ) The Living room is spacious and has seating for everyone. The kitchen is fully stocked as any normal home would be, including pots and pans, plates, utensils etc.... It includes everything one would need to cook for 6 people. There is also a gas grill included outside. All linens are included, (sheets, pillows, blankets, towels) Paper towels and toilet paper. The home has a furnace and air conditioning to keep you comfortable, the fireplace is non-functional, sorry! Easy access to everything in our area. Cabin is perfect for guests looking to have a home base centrally located to all our area has to offer. Wifi is provided. There is a garage in the pictures that is on the cabins property, (which you park in front of) however, it is not available for your use, sorry. There is not much yard at this property, just enough in back for the grill and small firepit area, and out front , not much either. ATV riders will appreciate the close proximity to the trail and gas station. For those looking to hike, bike and kayak, the trails and waterfalls are within 20 minutes and the river is just blocks away. Pictured Rocks Cruise is 10 minutes away. In response to reviews, I feel it necessary to point out the following: May I be frank? The fireplace in the home is not functional, so please do not expect to use it. One of the two bathrooms is very small, please do not expect it to be big, as it is small like stated. It is a fully functioning bathroom, but it is small. Like small..... The Cabin WILL sleep up to 6, but you do need to tell us you are actually going to be bringing the amount of people you intend to bring. We setup the cabin for the number of guests provided to us. For example, if you say 4 guests, we will set it up for 4, if you say 4 and bring 6, then don't expect accommodations for 6. The cabin is closed during the winter, it is very possible that you may have a hint of "mustinesss" , especially during the spring. I assure you, that does not make this place unclean, it's just inevitable when you close a home up for 7 months and it can't breathe. If the potential for "musty" offends you, please book something else that will not offend you. One of the bathrooms is small All in all, please don't review us less because of these things. It is conveniently located right off M28 in Christmas, less than 5 miles from downtown Munising, the beginning of the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. There are 2 bedrooms and 1.5 baths. Cottage has 1 king bed, 2 full beds, and a queen bed. Come up and enjoy Pictured Rocks and over a dozen waterfalls in the area. Furnace Lake can be used for non-motorized activities but swimming is not recommended. We provide a paddle boat and 12' row boat if you’d like to use. The space The second bedroom here used to be a jacuzzi tub room. The jacuzzi tub was removed, and now there is a bed in there. The room still has a toilet and sink in it. We have added a curtain to block toilet from view from bed. Central air conditioning was added in summer 2021. The home has a beautiful view and is very quiet and peaceful. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do :) During the summer, our weekly rentals are from Saturday to Saturday only. Up to 2 dogs are allowed with pre- approval, but there is a $75 non refundable pet fee that will need to be included. Dogs must be at least 1 year old and fully potty trained. We ask that you kindly try to keep them off the furniture and pick up after your pets in the yard (scooper and bags provided in garage).

While the home is conveniently located right off of M28, there is not much for a view or privacy as the apartments all have the view of the back of the White Pine Lodge and the Sunoco Gas Station. We do have a fire pit that is shared with the other apartments, and you also have a propane grill and patio set to use out the back door. Even though the home is 3 separate apartments, there is a tankless water heater so everyone will always get a hot shower, whether you are the first or last person to shower :) Other things to note Steps required to get to toilet and to shower. AC is not central air, there is a stand alone air conditioner unit in living room. There is another apartment above, and you will hear them if guests are above. The laundry room is available for use by the housekeepers as well as guests in the upstairs unit. There is a lock on the door to the laundry room from your apartment and we recommend keeping it locked so nobody will have access to your apartment that can use the laundry room.
